“Curbside pick up only” is part of my Nova Scotia Strong – Isolation series ( a collection of impressionistic paintings created this summer to celebrate the beauty and strength of my home province during these chaotic and strenuous times). This piece is of Smugglers Cove Provincial park in Meteghan NS – so named for its use to hide liquor during the prohibition in the 1920’s the cave was only accessible during low tide 🙂 Acrylic knife painting on gallery stretched canvas with gloss varnish.
