Description
“Release” is part of my Nova Scotia Strong – Isolation series ( a collection of impressionistic paintings created this year to celebrate the beauty and strength of my home province during these chaotic and strenuous times). This piece is of White Point Beach – soft waves rolling in against the break water and cool sandy beach – it is a very popular beach to visit or stay at the local resort. Done in a very soft pallet of blues and umber this painting is all about finding peace and just releasing what we can not control – Acrylic knife painting on gallery stretched canvas with gloss varnish.
