Description
Self Isolated is a dark and dramatic painting of a peony in isolation. Romantic yet distant this is my favorite of the show – alone but not lonely – isolated but strong. It is very textured and fades into the darkness. Part of my Beyond the Bubble series which is a contemporary floral series reflecting the journey over last year during the Covid Pandemic. Textured oil knife painting complete with gloss varnish on a gallery stretched canvas this piece is ready to hang.
