This dramatic golden storm painting is layered with blue greys and subtle ambers giving way to ivories and burnt coppers as the light through the clouds meet the rugged landscape. This piece reflects that complicated relationship of siblings. There is light and dark – storm and break – open and closed spaces – hope and despair. I created this piece to portray my relationship with my sister and have kept it for the last couple of years to learn from it – and now it is time to send it on its way.
